Day #1 (January 9, 2013)
My name is Preston. This is something completely and utterly new for me. I have never done an actual blog on my own before, but I am looking forward to seeing how this goes.
Today starts with the official day of the return from Vietnam (for three weeks).Having been since Monday morning and it is now Wednesday morning, it took all of us a couple days to get back on track with sleeping and routine ways of life. But as for myself, I am starting something new in and with my life.
This new Year is a great time to start doing what it truly is that I really want to do with my life. Now and for the future. I want to make the world a better place and do as much as I possibly can to make this change I want to see, as the famous Mahatma Gandhi.
Originally I wanted to make it to training (Muay Thai Kickboxing) at 9:30am and my girlfriend called to make sure I was awake at 8am and she said I sounded like a zombie who didn't know what was going on. I re awoke at 9:30am, the time training starts. I was furious! I really wanted to make it back to training, I haven't had a good solid workout in over a month and this was to be my day.
It didn't happen...a lot of things in life don't go the way we want them to go and work out in other ways than we could possibly imagine. Sometimes we have to get the things we want to see done ourselves, especially when they revolve around self attribution.
